A broker needs a reefer carrier for a recurring lane out of Atlanta. A search might use:
- Center ZIP 30303 with a 150-mile radius
- Cargo: Refrigerated food
- Fleet size: 5 to 50 power units
- Authority: current active property authority

Every filter
- Location: a two-letter state, a city within that state, or a center ZIP code with a radius from 5 to 500 miles (50 by default).
- Fleet size: a range of reported power units, 1 to 100 by default.
- Census safety rating: Satisfactory, Conditional, Unsatisfactory or unrated.
- Operating authority: any current active authority, or active authority for property, household goods or passengers specifically.
- Recent authority activity: authority granted, reinstated or suspended within the last 180 days.
- Reported cargo: one of 30 FMCSA cargo classifications, listed below.

Can I find carriers with new authority?
Yes. The recent authority activity filter finds carriers whose authority was granted or reinstated in the last 180 days, and it can also show recent suspensions.
How is the radius measured?
From the center ZIP code to each carrier’s reported physical ZIP code, using U.S. Census Bureau ZIP-area reference points. Results are listed nearest first.
Can I limit results to carriers with operating authority?
Yes. Choose any current active authority, or active authority for property, household goods or passengers, and only those carriers are returned.
How current is the data?
Searches use the latest published FMCSA census snapshot and authority data refreshed every day. Each carrier record shows its source date.
Which plans include carrier search?
Both Starter and Team. Adding a carrier from the results to your watchlist counts toward your active monitored carrier limit.
