Service and accounts
CarrierTrail provides carrier-record lookup, monitoring and private team review for business users. Keep account credentials private and invite only authorized workspace members. Owners manage membership and subscription billing.
Plans and payment
Starter costs $49 USD per month for up to 500 active monitored carriers and 2 members. Team costs $99 USD per month for up to 5,000 active carriers and 5 members. Stripe displays the total before you confirm payment. Choose monthly or yearly billing during signup. Yearly Starter costs $490 USD and yearly Team costs $990 USD, billed upfront. Subscriptions renew at the selected monthly or yearly interval until cancelled. There is no free trial. An account alone does not grant paid workspace access.
Plan changes
Owners can change plans in Billing. Changes are prorated for the remaining billing period and keep the renewal date. Upgrades may charge the saved payment method immediately and apply after required payment succeeds. Downgrades require usage within the new plan limits; credits apply to the billing balance rather than a cash refund.
Cancellation and payment failures
Use Billing and Manage billing to cancel renewal before the next charge. Access continues until the paid period ends. Unpaid or cancelled subscriptions do not receive monitoring access or change alerts. Saved workspace records are retained under the current data-handling policy; cancellation does not delete them. Contact support about billing errors or a refund request; mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Refunds
A period already used is not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge, and access continues to the end of the paid period. We refund at once for a billing error, a double charge, a charge made after you cancelled, or a paid account that was never used: contact support. Your mandatory legal rights are not affected.
Use of source data
Public records may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. CarrierTrail presents evidence, not a guarantee of authority, insurance coverage, safety, capacity or absence of fraud. Check official sources and your shipment requirements before making a decision. Do not use private workspace features to publish unsupported allegations about carriers.
Removal of personal names
CarrierTrail shows information from public FMCSA records, including the company officer names a carrier files on its MCS-150. A person named in a listing can ask us to remove their own name through the contact form. To protect against false or automated requests, we first ask the person to confirm the request from the email address on the carrier’s FMCSA registration, or to give another reasonable proof that they are the person named. We remove the name only after this confirmation, and keep it off future data imports. Company records (company name, USDOT and MC numbers, safety, insurance and authority data) are public business records and are not removed. Repeated, automated or bulk requests may be refused. To change the information at its source, the carrier can update its registration with FMCSA.
AI assistant connector (MCP)
The free MCP server is for individual lookups and allows 20 lookups a day. Do not copy records in bulk, work around the limits, or use the data in a product or service without a written agreement with CarrierTrail. We may limit or block access that does. Answers carry the same limits as other source data on CarrierTrail: they are public records that may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect, not a verification or rating.
Support and changes
Use the contact form for support, billing questions and data-display corrections. No response-time or uptime guarantee is included in these plans. Material changes to an existing paid plan will be communicated before they apply.
